Proposals / Quotations
All prices and are subject to change without notice. Estimates are given at no charge for written, faxed, e-mailed or telephoned requests. Unless otherwise specified, quotations are valid for 7 days. We are not responsible for verbal estimates.
The Contract
If a proposal or quotation is accepted then that document constitutes the contract between parties and all business is thereby conducted under The Edge Media Group's Terms and Conditions of Trade. No other payment or contract terms will be considered.
Tax
The Edge Media Group Pty Ltd. is required to charge goods and services tax (GST) on all items and services.
There is no tax exemptions offered to Australian businesses under Australian tax law. For international sales GST is not applicable.
Payment Terms and Placing Orders
Payment is expected at the time services are rendered unless other arrangements have been made with our credit department. The Edge Media Group Pty Ltd. requires a 50% down payment to start production, and the remaining 50% at the time of installation or delivery. Eon-FX will start system's build and configuration on a quote once a purchase order is received. Lead time is usually 1-2 weeks from the date purchase order is received. No equipment will be shipped until payment is recieved in full.
30 Day Credit
30 day credit applies only to ongoing quarterly instalment payments and for post production services for Purchasers with established credit. Terms are strictly net 30 days. Purchasers with established credit shall submit purchase orders when placing an order. If credit is not established, purchaser must pay for items ordered at time an order is entered with The Edge Media Group Pty Ltd. according to the Payment Terms above. All payments must be in AUS dollars; checks made payable to The Edge Media Group Pty Ltd. Where possible EFT is the preferred payment method. Furthermore, Purchaser authorizes The Edge Media Group Pty Ltd. to use any means necessary to establish the validity of all information submitted.
Quarterly installment payments for managed services are strictly on 30 days. Late payments will incurr late fees as outlined in our Standard Terms and Conditions of Trade and may result in the cancellation of the Purchaser's credit account. All outstanding and future inovices will revert to COD until further notice. Freight Policy
Purchaser is responsible for paying freight charges. Purchaser shall be responsible for obtaining insurance.
Eon-FX will take no responsibility for goods once they have left our
premises.
At Eon-FX's discretion, freight policy for orders may be subject to
special terms and conditions. If product is damaged in transit,
Purchaser must file claim exclusively with carrier, vessel and/or
insurance company.
Product Warranty
Eon-FX provides warranty against equipment and software defects or bugs that impair the proper functioning of the system under individual manufacturer's warranty (usually 1 year). This includes computer and camera failure except where such failure is due to large power surges, electrical storms or other acts of nature. Repair of any equipment will be conducted on site where possible. The client is responsible for all costs involved in conducting the repair except for the replacement of faulty equipment. If the equipment needs to be returned to Eon-FX to affect the repair then the client will also be responsible for shipping.
Installation
Installation can be conducted by the client as the systems are pre-configured for the individual project and are virtually 'plug and play'. We do advise however that installation should be conducted by an Eon-FX representative for best results.
Third Party Service Provision
Eon-FX may rely on third party services such as telecommunications and internet service providers in the provisioning of its services. Eon-FX offers no guarantees to uninterrupted communications services of any kind and is not liable for any loss of data as a result.
Technical Support
Eon-FX supplies a reasonable level of initial technical support in the process of installation and set up for free (1st week). Beyond that Eon-FX provides technical support under maintenance contracts. For any on-site technical issues call-out charges will apply.
Maintenance Contracts
Full service maintenance contracts are available on request. The systems are generally very reliable so maintenance contracts are not normally required. Should you however require a maintenance contract for peace of mind please contact us for a quote. All other technical support issues we will be charged at hourly rates.
Project Monitoring
Project monitoring via the Eon-FX imageviewer interface is the client's responsibility. We do keep a periodic check on systems integrity however, unless you purchase a maintenance contract, ultimately the responsibility for best project outcomes is yours. Should you note your camera/s not sending images to our servers you should notify us immediately.
Return Policy
Exchanges and refunds are subject to a 10% restocking fee & non refundable shipping and handling, 14 days from receipt of merchandise. If you return the product after the 14 day return period, a 15% restocking fee will be charged and no returns will be accepted after 90 days. Product must be in new condition with unfilled warranty cards and have all of its original packaging. Customer must e-mail or call for authorization before return. All refunds will be issued/credited within 14-21 days after return of merchandise. Product warranties may vary. Returns will not be accepted where the Purchaser has advised for a particular configuration that does not provide the results anticipated.
