Monitoring construction of : Painter's Gantry Installation Sydney Harbour Bridge

Shot on a Nikon 995 3.4 megapixel camera. Only just HDTV but a great result just the same from an old favourite of a camera. The Sydney Harbour Bridge is undergoing constant maintenance and the milestone of raising the new movable 'Painter's Gantry' was worthy of coverage. 4 x 80 tonne cranes were required, not because of weight, but because of accuracy and control in the delicate operation. The painter's Gantry solution offers much greater efficiency in the task of maintaining the iron structure of The Sydney Harbour Bridge.
