Based in North Sydney Australia, Eon-FX was founded in 2001 as a part of The Edge Media Group. It was then that digital camera technology combined with miniature mass storage devices finally provided the potential for affordable high quality time-lapse acquisition for creative purposes.
The concept was clear but the road to creating real results took a good deal of R&D until the experienced staff at Eon-FX would accept the final output. Today our body of work and current projects base speaks for itself.

A digital solution provided benefits way beyond the mere aquisition of high resolution frames. With research and development into proprietary and off the shelf emerging technologies we are now able to provide systems that can be solar powered and wireless or satelite linked to the Internet.

As The Edge Media Group we approached the application from a creative angle with technology expertise. For this reason we have concentrated on developing the very best media results in the business with advertising and marketing goals in mind and high technology compositing techniques at the ready. We started building our creative libraries and continued servicing our initial construction clients including the RTA.

Our research continues as we are currently in development of an HDTV computer controlled robot camera capable of 60 frames per second for use is special projects for the film and television industries. This camera system is destined to revolutionise the post production process even further.

Known primarily for its time-lapse services, Eon-FX also provides royalty free libraries of its ever expanding body of creative work. Here you will find time-lapse themes each containing up to 20 HDTV sequences we call "Eons" - you can use again and again in any of your productions.
